3 Months Down - 9 More to Go

Well, we're a third of the way there. My time goes by fast. It's been kind of a slow month too, at least it seems that way to me. In fact, that was going to be the original title of this post, "At Least It Seems that Way to Me." Okay, I'm kidding on that part. But it did seem like a bit of a slow month in this contest. Still, let's see how we did.

Yours truly still has a sizable lead with 176 points, with 52 being scored this month. I also posted 10 games, but one was a 100% completion, so that helped and another was NHL 12. Man, that game was long.

We had a couple of upsets for 2nd and even 3rd place this month, but at the end of the month, boyward stands in 2nd with 64 points. The big question is for how long though. With only a 3 point advantage, he could be on 3rd before we know it. Over March, boyward also beat 7 games, and put up 21 points. Not bad, boyward; not bad at all.

Still, Sargus in 3rd is creeping up quick with 61 points. Like boyward, he also put up 7 wins, but over the course of the month, he managed to add 24 points. Most of them were fairly short, but I think we'll see more of him as sometimes quantity can beat out quality.

Evili current stands in 4th with 49 points, and we really haven't seen much of him. But there's still plenty of year left. He might just come out on top yet.

In 5th, we have Nelson S. at 35 with 7 points and two wins posted this month.

Though he currently holds 6th, megabuster44 put up a quality win with Chrono Trigger. He holds 27 points and added 7 going into April. He placed 3rd last year, so I'm expecting a lot more from him as the year wears on.

7th and 8th place are occupied by Luinnar and ChristianGamer respectfully, and both hold fairly steady at 5 points and 0.

See, I told you it was a slow month.

So, that should just about cover the end-of-month recap. I'm certainly planning on going into April swinging - on my list are MLB 09 and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. We'll see what else I might put up too.

Keep playing, gamers.
